Istanbul Park is back after six years away. The Turkish Grand Prix returns to the calendar in 2027 at the Hermann Tilke classic on the Asian side of the Bosphorus — home of the legendary quadruple-apex Turn 8, one of the greatest corners in modern Formula 1.
The 5.338 km Intercity Istanbul Park is widely considered the best of the modern-era circuit designs: a fast, flowing lap with big elevation changes, crowned by Turn 8 — a flat-out, four-apex left-hander that loads the cars for nearly seven seconds. The uphill back straight into the Turn 12 hairpin is the main overtaking spot, and the anti-clockwise layout gives drivers’ necks a rare workout. When it last ran in 2021, wet-weather chaos made it an instant classic.

2027 tickets are not yet on general sale — the race was only confirmed with the calendar announcement in September 2026. The Official F1 Ticket Store is the first place to register interest, and historical pricing suggests Türkiye will be among the cheaper races on the calendar.

2027 prices are TBC. As a guide from the race’s last running in 2021: general admission started around €37 and main-straight grandstands around €415 — among the cheapest in F1 even then. Only the main grandstand is covered; Silver-tier stands line the back sections. Expect modern pricing but still strong value by calendar standards.

Insider tips for the Turkish Grand Prix
- Turn 8 is the pilgrimage — whatever ticket you buy, watch at least one session from a vantage point on the quadruple apex.
- Fly into Sabiha Gökçen (SAW), not Istanbul Airport (IST): it is 15 km from the track versus 90+ km.

Istanbul Park is in Tuzla on the Asian side of the city, about 60 km from the centre. Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) is just 15 km away — fly there rather than Istanbul Airport if you can. On race weekend the promoter historically runs shuttle buses from central hubs like Kadıköy and Taksim. Driving means the TEM motorway; allow serious time for post-race traffic.
