Madrid’s new home for Formula 1. The Spanish Grand Prix moves to Madring — the hybrid street-and-permanent circuit around the IFEMA exhibition centre that debuted in 2026 — bringing the race to the heart of one of Europe’s great capitals, five minutes from the airport.
Madring is a 5.4 km hybrid: street-style sections threading around IFEMA’s halls and underpasses combined with purpose-built permanent stretches, including the banked “La Monumental” corner and the long high-speed run along the outer ring. The 22-corner layout mixes heavy braking zones with flowing final sectors, and the compact site means grandstands sit unusually close to the fences for a new-build circuit.
