The original night race. Under floodlights against the Marina Bay skyline, the Singapore Grand Prix is the most visually spectacular weekend in Formula 1 — a street race, a music festival and a city-wide party rolled into one humid, unforgettable package.
The 4.94 km Marina Bay Street Circuit runs between the skyscrapers and past the city’s landmarks: over the Anderson Bridge, under the grandstand at the Bayfront, and around the floating platform. The bumpy surface, 19 corners and brutal humidity make it the most physically demanding race of the year for drivers, and the night schedule means European body clocks actually work in your favour. Overtaking concentrates at the Turn 7 and Turn 14 braking zones.

Getting there & where to stay
Transport
Singapore’s MRT makes this the easiest street race in the world to reach: City Hall, Raffles Place, Bayfront and Promenade stations all serve different gates, and trains run extended hours on race weekend. Walking between zones inside the circuit perimeter takes time — the lap is nearly 5 km of city streets — so plan your zone hopping. Taxis and Grab surge after the sessions; the MRT is faster.
