Full detailAbout Accor Arena
The Accor Arena holds up to around 20,300 for concerts, with capacity dropping to roughly 15,000-16,000 for tennis and other sports when a central court or ring replaces the stage. Seating rises from a floor (standing or seated) through numbered lower and upper tiers, and the best concert views are from the lower blocks facing an end stage and the front of the floor. The upper ring climbs steeply, so the highest and most side-on blocks feel distant. A Paris institution, it hosts major concerts, the Rolex Paris Masters tennis and elite basketball and handball.
Opened in 1984 as the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy, the Accor Arena is instantly recognisable for its sloping, grass-covered pyramid walls that rise from the ground beside the Seine. Inside, a large, versatile bowl of retractable and fixed tiers can be reshaped for concerts, tennis, basketball, handball and ice hockey, and it hosted gymnastics and basketball at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
