Wales's national stadium in the heart of Cardiff, opened in 1999 with the first fully retractable roof in the UK. Three steep tiers rise close to the pitch, and with the roof closed it becomes a deafening indoor cauldron, one of the loudest atmospheres in world rugby.

Principality Stadium's concourse catering has been overhauled under a new partnership with Aramark UK, with a stronger emphasis on Welsh suppliers and a trader-residency scheme for local vendors. Pies remain the staple — Celtic Welsh pies feature on the menu — joined by newer additions such as salt and chilli chicken tenders with curry sauce and samosa chaat, plus doughnuts from local maker Planet Doughnut. Beer on the concourses is lower-strength 4.1% Amstel, which the WRU phased in to replace 5% Heineken.
Bars operate the Challenge 21 age-verification policy, and a permanent 4,200-capacity alcohol-free zone runs in the North Stand. Free drinking-water stations are provided throughout the stadium.
