About BMO Field
BMO Field is an intimate, three-quarters-covered soccer bowl where almost every seat is close to the pitch. The West Stand is the main grandstand and, with the East upper deck, gives the best central side-on sightlines; the canopy over East, West and South means most of the ground stays dry, while the open North end and the pitch itself take the weather. The loudest support is the Toronto FC supporters' section behind the South goal (roughly sections 112-118), home to the Red Patch Boys, U-Sector and Inebriatti, where the drums and smoke live. Best value is the 200-Level sideline, which trades a little proximity for an elevated tactical view under cover. For the 2026 World Cup the ground was temporarily expanded to 45,736 with new upper stands over the North and South ends, both left open-air; it hosted six matches (five group games plus a Round of 32 knockout), the smallest venue at the tournament.
A compact, soccer-specific single-bowl ground on the Exhibition Place grounds by Lake Ontario, wrapped on three sides (East, West and South) by a sweeping canopy roof added in the 2014-2016 rebuild, with an East upper deck bolted on at the same time. The pitch itself is left open to the sky and the North end stays open, so for the 2026 World Cup temporary upper grandstands were erected over the North and South ends to close the bowl and lift capacity to 45,736.

MLS / domestic football (Toronto FC)
Standard soccer bowl of around 30,000 with the canopy covering East, West and South stands. Supporters behind the South goal; premium and the main stand on the West side.
Canada national team / World Cup 2026
Temporarily expanded to 45,736 with temporary upper grandstands over the North (about 10,000 seats) and South (about 7,700 seats) ends, both open-air. Renamed 'Toronto Stadium' for FIFA sponsorship rules; hosted six matches including one Round of 32 knockout.
CFL football (Toronto Argonauts)
Gridiron configuration used since 2016; a wider field footprint changes sightlines from the end stands but the sideline seating is the same.
Concerts (occasional)
End-stage shows use a floor general-admission and reserved-seat setup with the stage at one end; covered sideline seats are the safest bet and the open end behind the stage is the area to avoid.

Pros: Covered; upper deck offers a great overview of the game; often better value than the West.
Cons: Lower rows sit in afternoon sun; slightly further from the players' benches and tunnel side.
South Stand / Supporters' EndLower 112-118; Upper 212-218
Behind the south goal and the traditional home of the Toronto FC supporters' groups (Red Patch Boys and 'The Bunker' in 112, U-Sector, Inebriatti). Singing, standing, drums and smoke. Covered by the south canopy.
Pros: By far the loudest, most atmospheric area; cheapest full-price seats; under cover.
Cons: Behind-goal angle; constant standing and singing is not for everyone; far end action is distant.
North End (open)Lower approx. 128-134 and corner blocks 101-103
The open, uncovered north end. In everyday configuration it is the most exposed part of the ground; for the World Cup a large temporary upper stand of about 10,000 seats was built here.
Pros: Good value; behind-goal atmosphere at the opposite end to the supporters.
Cons: No roof, so fully exposed to sun, rain and wind; temporary World Cup upper deck was steep and distant.
Field-level premium & suitesTunnel-side field seats; suite levels East and West
Pitch-side and club-level hospitality including the KLM Tunnel Club by the players' tunnel, the BMO Club, and Executive and Loge suites down both sidelines.
Pros: Closest possible to the pitch; food and beverage service; premium entrances and lounges.
Cons: Priciest tickets; very low field-level rows have a flat, low angle over the near touchline advertising.

Seats to avoid & obstructed views
North end temporary upper deck (World Cup) and open north lower blocks: Uncovered and fully exposed to sun and rain; the temporary World Cup deck was steep and set back from the pitch.
Upper behind-goal corners (212 / 218 and 128-130): Flat, distant angle to the far end of play and the least complete view of the game.
Front rows of field-level / row 1-2 lower bowl: Very low sightline over the near touchline and advertising boards; players block the far side.
South and North lower blocks for early-afternoon kick-offs: The pitch and open end are unshaded, so sun glare and heat are a factor before the canopy shadow arrives.
Accessibility & companion seating
BMO Field provides wheelchair-accessible and companion seating on both the main (100) and upper (200) concourses, reached by elevators, with designated platforms distributed around the bowl so wheelchair users can choose sideline or end positions. Accessible entry gates, service-animal relief areas and accessible washrooms are provided; contact MLSE accessibility services in advance to book companion seats.
Where: Designated accessible platforms on the 100-Level concourse around the bowl and select 200-Level positions (including accessible sections such as 321A and 325A).
Food & drink at BMO Field
BMO Field's concessions are run by an in-house culinary team that cooks from scratch and buys from Canadian farmers and suppliers, organised into branded stands around the bowl: Food Junction for fried chicken sandwiches, burgers and a foot-long pork birria taquito; Panini for carved-to-order porchetta and other sandwiches; Frites for house-cut poutines; and Pizza Pizza slices. Drinks run to Labatt beers, Mill St. Brewery cans, Brickworks Ciderhouse cider, Coca-Cola soft drinks and Tim Hortons coffee, with the King Club bar covering craft beer.
Outside food, drink and alcohol may not be brought in, with ejection possible for breaches; fans with allergies or medical conditions can arrange exceptions through Fan Services in advance.

Getting there
Transport
Public transit is by far the easiest option. Exhibition GO station sits right on the stadium grounds and is roughly a 7-minute ride from Union Station downtown; TTC streetcars 509 Harbourfront and 511 Bathurst both terminate at Exhibition Loop a short walk away. The 29 Dufferin bus serves the west end. Over 5,000 parking spaces exist across Exhibition Place (around $30 on TFC matchdays) but driving is strongly discouraged for major events. From Pearson Airport, the UP Express to Union plus a GO train is about 45-55 minutes.
The area
BMO Field sits inside Exhibition Place (the CNE fairgrounds) on Toronto's western waterfront, next to Ontario Place and Lake Ontario. Trendy Liberty Village and King West, packed with bars and restaurants, are a 10-15 minute walk north; downtown and the Entertainment District are about 20 minutes away by streetcar.
