Transport
The metro terminus Estádio do Dragão sits right beside the ground and is served by several lines (including A, B, E and F), making arrival by metro very easy. It is next to the VCI ring road on Porto's eastern side with some parking, but the metro is the simplest option.
The area
The stadium stands in eastern Porto beside the Dragão metro interchange and a shopping centre, in a modern, well-connected area a short metro ride from the historic centre and riverside. The surroundings are functional rather than a bar district.
