Overview

About OVO Hydro

The OVO Hydro has a maximum capacity of about 14,300, made up of roughly 12,300 seats plus around 2,000 standing on the floor. Seating rises in a steep circular bowl over the floor, with a lower level and upper level of numbered blocks, and the best concert views come from the floor and the lower-tier blocks facing an end stage. The upper-level 200 and 300 blocks climb quickly and the highest rows feel distant. It is Scotland's flagship indoor arena for concerts, comedy and live events, having become one of the world's most-attended venues.

Opened in 2013 as part of the Scottish Event Campus beside the River Clyde, the OVO Hydro is a striking circular arena whose translucent skin glows and changes colour at night. Designed with concerts in mind, its tight, steeply raked bowl and enclosed roof make it one of the busiest and best-sounding arenas in the world by ticket sales.
