About Parken Stadium

Parken is Denmark's national stadium and FC Copenhagen's home, seating 38,065 across four named stands: the A-Tribune, the B-Tribune (home of FCK's Section 12 fan group), the larger Carlsberg-Tribune and the smaller Family Tribune. A retractable roof, added ahead of Eurovision 2001, can close the arena. The ground hosts Denmark internationals, FC Copenhagen's European nights, concerts and other major events, and its office and hospitality complex includes nine VIP lounges, 22 skyboxes and over 3,000 VIP seats.

Parken is Denmark's national stadium and the home of FC Copenhagen, rebuilt on the site of the old Idrætsparken (inaugurated 1911) and opened in its current form on 9 September 1992; the original main stand was preserved until it too was replaced in 2007-2009. The stadium seats 38,065 for football (up to around 50,000 for a concert with an end stage, or 55,000 centre-stage) across four named stands: the A-Tribune, the B-Tribune (home of FCK's Section 12 support), the Carlsberg-Tribune (C, the largest of the four) and the smaller Family Tribune (D). A retractable roof was added ahead of Parken hosting the Eurovision Song Contest final in 2001. The stadium staged matches at UEFA Euro 2020 and is the regular home of the Danish national team.

The second-largest stand, with an upper level of around 6,200 seats and a lower level of around 5,900. Several matchday hospitality experiences, including The Anthem sports bar and 1992 by The Terrace, open into sections of this stand.

Pros: Large stand with a range of ticket types, from general seating to hospitality packages in sections such as A2/A3, A5 and A9.

Cons: Upper Stand A, section A11, is sometimes used for larger away followings, so home and away tickets can sit close together for bigger fixtures.

B-Tribune (Section 12)

Around 8,800 seats split between an upper (roughly 4,100) and lower (roughly 4,700) level. The stand takes its nickname, Section 12, from FC Copenhagen's organised support.

Pros: Home to FCK's most vocal fan group. VIP and Anthem terrace sections open earlier than general seating on matchday.

Cons: The organised-support sections prioritise atmosphere over comfort.

Carlsberg-Tribune (C)

The largest of the four stands, with around 13,300 seats split between an upper level of roughly 6,000 and a lower level of roughly 7,300.

Pros: The biggest stand in the ground, with the largest choice of lower-tier seats close to the pitch.

Cons: Central lower blocks carry the highest prices for big fixtures.

Family Tribune (D)

The smallest stand, holding around 3,900 seats. It houses the family section, one of the stadium's wheelchair platforms, and is the normal allocation for visiting supporters (sections D1 to D3).

Access

Accessibility & companion seating

Parken has permanent wheelchair platforms on the lower B-Tribune, reached via a lift at entrances B9/B10/B11, and on the D-Tribune. Wheelchair users must buy a special wheelchair ticket for themselves, and companions with a valid companion card can be brought free of charge; both are arranged in advance through FCK customer service rather than bought as standard tickets. Disabled parking is available in front of the B-Tribune on event days for permit holders, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Where: Wheelchair platforms are on the lower B-Tribune (entrances B9/B10/B11) and on the D-Tribune.

Transport

The stadium stands on Per Henrik Lings Allé in the Østerbro district, around 3 km north of central Copenhagen. The club recommends the S-train to Østerport, Nordhavn or Ryparken stations or the metro to Trianglen, Poul Henningsens Plads or Vibenshus Runddel, all a walk or short bus ride from the ground. Parking in Østerbro is limited and restricted on event days; public transport is the easier choice.

The area

Parken sits in inner Østerbro, one of Copenhagen's most liveable districts, with cafes, restaurants and shops along Østerbrogade and the lakes a pleasant walk south. Fælledparken, the city's largest park, lies immediately behind the stadium, and the Little Mermaid and the harbourfront are within walking distance to the east.
