Full detailAbout Kyle Field
Kyle Field is a three-deck bowl: a lower level, a middle level, an upper level and a top upper deck on the sidelines. Per the official numbering, one sideline runs sections 101-135 (lower), 201-235 (middle), 301-335 (upper) and 401-435 (upper deck); the opposite runs 501-535 / 601-635 / 701-735 / 801-835. The west sideline is the A&M home side and the shade side, with the sun setting behind it, while the east sideline bakes in afternoon sun and holds the standing 12th Man student section. Best sideline seats are the lower 100-level around midfield. There is no dedicated away-fan block.
A fully enclosed three-tier bowl with grandstands on both sidelines, closed corners and a large north-end structure. The 2013-15 redevelopment lowered the field and shifted it south to add lower rows and installed one of college football's largest videoboards. The closed corners and steep decks are built to trap crowd noise, in keeping with the 12th Man tradition.
