About WiZink Center
The WiZink Center holds around 15,000-15,500 for concerts and about 15,000 for basketball, with capacity varying by configuration. A steep bowl of numbered lower and upper stands (gradas) rings a floor that can be standing or seated, and the best concert views come from the lower stands facing an end stage and the front of the floor. The upper ring climbs quickly, so the highest and behind-stage blocks feel distant. It is the home of Real Madrid's basketball team and Madrid's main indoor arena for concerts and sport. Note that the venue has more recently been renamed under a new sponsor.
Officially the Palacio de Deportes de la Comunidad de Madrid, the WiZink Center was rebuilt in a high-tech style between 2002 and 2005 after a fire destroyed the original 1960 hall, reopening as a modern multi-purpose arena. Its steep, wraparound bowl is designed for both basketball and concerts, giving a close, loud atmosphere in the heart of the city.

Accessibility & companion seating
The WiZink Center provides wheelchair-accessible spaces and easy-access seating with accessible toilets and lifts, and offers assistance for disabled visitors arranged in advance. Accessible tickets, including a companion place where eligible, are booked through the venue's dedicated service rather than general sale.

Transport
The arena sits at the corner of Goya and O'Donnell streets in central Madrid, served by Metro Goya (lines 2 and 4) and O'Donnell (line 6), both a short walk away. It is very central and well connected by bus, so most visitors arrive by Metro rather than car.
The area
It is in the Salamanca and Retiro district of central Madrid, close to the upscale shopping of Calle Goya and a short walk from the Retiro Park. The surrounding streets have plenty of bars and restaurants for before and after an event.
